Yesterday and today saw our Agency Press day take place.   Showcasing all of our lovely clients Autumn Winter 2013 collections we had well over a hundred press and stylists visit our Rivington Street showroom – instgram snaps and iphone photos were taken all day long allowing editors to call in for their new season shoots.  The space was transformed in to a winter wilderness and a gorgeous lunch was served allowing for many of our favourite editors to kick back from the mania of the East London press day trail.

Spring has sprung at DeVetta PR HQ!  The uber talented Piers Atkinson for Eudon Choi head scarves arrived in our showroom today.  We can’t wait to see how they’re going to be featured in the forthcoming magazines!

Last night saw London’s tastemakers descend on Old Marylebone to experience the world of Shay & Blue with Creator and Founder Dom De Vetta, nose Julie Masse and Style Director Julia Sarr-Jamois.  Guests sipped on Blood Orange cocktails and Salt Margaritas . Everyone left feeling a little heady – we’re not sure if it was the cocktails or the decadent Shay & Blue fragrances!

Accurist’s Greenwich collection appeared this weekend in the Independent Magazine.  Charlie Cooper said of the watch – ‘If God wears a watch it probably looks a bit like this.  Part of Accurist’s Greenwich collection made in association with the Royal Observatory, the grandly named ‘Celestial’ not only gives the time but also keeps you up to date with the current movements of 1056 stars.  To ask why on Earth is to miss the point entirely.”  We couldn’t have said it better ourselves Charlie!

Today we’re very excited at DeVetta PR.  Upon opening Red Magazine we were greeted with our gorgeous client Shay & Blue featured over a full page on the Beauty Opener as well as featured as style icon and Tank Editor in Chief Caroline Issa’s favourite fragrance.  And haven’t Red got it spot calling the fragrances “Modern Classics”.

Jumpsuits are GO!  We’re coveting this Space Odessy inspired silver jumpsuit from Eudon Choi’s Spring Summer 2013 collection at Selfridges and as featured here in O By Tank with the Guardian weekend newspaper.

Last night we danced the night away at the 2013 Elle Style Awards at The Savoy – who said Monday nights aren’t fun!  No proposals from Bradley Cooper though – ho-hum….

Last night London’s art, design and fashion world descended on Hauser & Wirth gallery to celebrate an inspired collaboration between Wallpaper*, architect Annabelle Selldorf and three of Savile Row’s top tailors. The event was perfectly timed to be a part of London Collections: Men – the British Fashion Council’s biannual initiative, now in it’s second year, which gives London menswear it’s own dedicated slot in the Men’s fashion week calendar. It was great to see so many familiar faces from the fashion and art world together!

Shay & Blue – the delicious boutique perfumery - were delighted to gift the FROW of  emerging menswear designer Lou Dalton who showed today on schedule at London Collections: Mens.  Dylan Jones and Natalie Massenet were spotted clutching their beautifully wrapped signature blue boxes when exiting the show…

Our very own MD went to her last meeting of the year at The Swarovski offices to map out the PR strategy for Swarovski Fashion Collective’s latest winner Eudon Choi.  Unfortunately on her way in to the building she toppled over on her very high heels and fractured her ankle….who said Fashion isn’t dangerous!

The lovely Pippa Small was featured today over a double page spread in Sunday Times Style with her gorgeous twins making their very first debut!

Anglo-italian brand Fiorentini + Baker open their doors to their new flagship boutique this week on our very own Rivington Street.  The quirky three-storey red-brick building, a former button factory, dates back to 1860 and was used as a recording studio and strip club before the arrival of F+B.  The store has been decorated in quintessentially F+B style under the eclectic guidance of Deborah Baker, founder and designer.  The shop floor has been painted with two-tone rhombic pattern, vintage lamps adorn the ceiling, and unique display stands and furniture create the warm, welcoming atmosphere, a feature in all F+B premises.

Pippa Small last night opened her new shop on the main strip in Notting Hill, Westbourne Grove.  A location that can’t be missed for a multitude of reasons, the very least of which is its eye-popping pink exterior. Pippa can often been seen walking around Notting Hill garlanded with her necklaces made from abalone and lapis lazuli. Pippa has arguably popularized semi-precious stones with many lesser brands copying her her individual and desirable rough and flat cut stones.  I know what I want under the tree this year!

Shay & Blue the new boutique perfumery handcrafted here in England, embarked on a special delivery campaign today ahead of its major launch in March next year.  Beautiful fragrances were hand delivered to editors of the top fashion magazines….Vogue House never smelt so good!

Shhhh we’re hand packing and hand-bowing the most decadently rich fragrances we’ve ever smelt….!  Watch this space for more on a new English boutique perfumery with a different point of view…..!

The start of November saw our Rivington Street showrooms open their doors for our Spring Summer 2013 Press Days.  A riot of colour graced the rails, shelves and a specially commissioned spring blossom tree saw brightly hued handbags hanging from its budding branches. The two days were a resounding success with a steady stream of editors and stylists – lunch time and end of day saw definite rushes as word got around about our Ottolenghi catered lunch and late afternoon Lychee martini’s!

Last night saw the launch of the long-awaited collaboration of Michael van der Ham for Brora.  Proudly British cashmere brand Brora were delighted to announce the launch of their second designer collaboration, following the success of Louise Gray for Brora in 2011. For this collaboration Michael van der Ham has created a twelve piece capsule collection which previewed to the press tonight at Brora’s flagship store on Symons Street, Sloane Square.

Eudon Choi featured as THE designer to watch for 2012 in British Vogue!  Another triumphant moment.

Today saw Eudon Choi show his second on-schedule collection at London Fashion Week.  This season Choi took us to Space with Oddity.   The reviews on Style.com, Vogue.co.uk, Elleuk.com and more were a resounding success – congratulations Mr Choi!

Having seen Eudon Choi’s Terra Nova collection at London Fashion Week Selfridges swiftly snapped it up exclusively for AW12.  Today sees Choi’s collection join the luxury fashion emporium.  Buying Manager Gary Edgley said: ‘Eudon Choi was undoubtedly one of the shows we were most excited by this year—we’re seeing a real appetite for great shapes at the moment, and Eudon’s use of lean lines and panelling is especially promising. It’s great to be able to introduce such a dynamic emerging designer to our offering.’  We’ve already put our names down for his leather and shearling mixed coat!

Today luxury lifestyle brand Shanghai Tang launched its new look Homewares to the British press. From brightly coloured silk cushions to beautifully hand blown glass vases the colour popping homeware went down a treat with both the interior and fashion editors.

Excited about the Queens Jubliee?  Oh yes indeed!  We’ve got the bunting out and we’re flying our union jack flags!  God Save the Queen!

What a wonderful way to spend an afternoon surrounding by the crème de le crème of London’s gentlemen in fashion, art and music.  Today Raphael Le Masne de Chermont, Executive Chairman of Shanghai Tang co-hosted a lunch with Robert Johnston of GQ. With the likes of Mr Hudson, Bill Amberg, Mr Hare and Charlie Casley-Hayford in attendance the lunch was always set to be a great success. Shanghai Tang have most certainly opened up the eyes of these gentlemen to a chic alternative way of dressing. In the words of Le Chermont – ReOrient Yourself!

Today we met with one of the hottest emerging designers of the moment in London to talk about Brora’s next collaboration.  We know everyone is dying to know who it is but for now we’re absolutely sworn to secrecy! What we can tell you is he loves a bit of intarsia….Watch this space….

There has been a lot of additional behind-the-scenes activity at DeVetta HQ over the last few months.  The showroom has been given a full ‘make-over’ thanks to the lovely Philip Scurrah enabling us to hold our Autumn Winter 2012 Press Day at Rivington Street over the last two days.  And what a two days it has been – thank you to all the lovely press for coming to see all our client’s new season collections!  We’re so ready for the new season to begin!

The designer of the moment Eudon Choi debuted today on-schedule at London Fashion Week.  Entitled ‘Terra Nova’ Choi took us to Antarctica via Captain Scott’s polar expedition.

Born in Korea, EUDON CHOI initially trained as a menswear designer in Seoul, acquiring an in-depth knowledge of tailoring techniques and a great eye for detail. After 4 years of experience in menswear, he moved to London to attend the Royal College of Art’s MA in womenswear.

Eudon’s experience in menswear and womenswear enables him to merge the best of both worlds, using sartorial techniques and masculine cuts to shape the female form. EUDON CHOI look is understated yet modern and meticulously constructed.
In 2010, Eudon was selected as one of Vauxhall Fashion Scout’s Ones to Watch. In September 2010 he received both the VFS Merit Award and the BFC/Elle Talent Launch Pad, a support program co-ordinated by Elle and the British Fashion Council. In 2012 Eudon Choi debuted his AW12 on-schedule at London Fashion Week. Eudon lives and works in London.

While we’re shivering away the cold January days in the UK in the warmer climes of Hong Kong Shanghai Tang, renowned for their contemporary take on Chinese Chic, continues on in full force with their ‘Mongolian Village’ winter wonderland. Traditional nomadic Ger tents functioning as pop-up retail spaces are located on the rooftop of the central Pier 4 building, formerly the location of Shanghai Tang’s first store, providing sweeping views of Hong Kong’s skyline. Wallpaper, The Times and various other titles featured the story on this exciting project but we feel the Global Innovation report summed it up best…
