Founded in 1992 by Moise Emquies, Splendid is the culmination of Emquies’ tireless search to find the softest fabric and most colour absorbing yarns in the world in order to create the ultimate t-shirt. Splendid’s first major collections consisted of a full t-shirt collection with nine basic bodies, and has since grown to become an extensive collection of not only t-shirts but tanks, thermals, dresses, sportswear and more.

Clean, simple and effortless best describe the aesthetic of the line, which can be seen on some of the most famous women in the world including Gwyneth Paltrow, Sarah Jessica Parker, Cameron Diaz, Kirsten Dunst, and Julia Roberts.

In the summer of 2005 Splendid introduced Splendid Little’s, a collection for babies, and Splendid Mills, for men.

Splendid is sold at high-end department stores and boutiques including Selfridges, Harvey Nicholls, Net-A-Porter, Barneys, Henri Bendel, Scoop and Fred Segal.
