Ushering in a new design era for Shanghai Tang, the international lifestyle brand introduces the Imperial Collection, the zenith of modern Chinese luxury fashion, showcasing Shanghai Tang’s finest quality fabrics and most sophisticated design.
The launch of this seasonal line introduces Shanghai Tang’s new head designer, Joseph Li, a graduate of Central Saint Martin’s College of Arts & Design. This inaugural Imperial Collection is a tour de force of Joseph’s talent and philosophy: pleating, draping and sophisticated detailing abound, with stand-outs being a laser-cut leather tunic, a silk column dress with an intricately tucked bodice and a striped raffia dress.
The Imperial Collection is available in limited quantities at Shanghai Tang international flagship locations including New York, Hong Kong, London, and Singapore.
